Wacken Open Air 2011

This year I was fortunate enough to be able to cover Wacken Open Air for Metalkrant.nl. Wacken is probably the biggest Metal Festival in Europe and I was really looking forward to it!

WOA 2011 turned out to be a very special edition once again with the last ever Iced Earth show with Matt Barlow on vocals and the very last Avantasia show ever.
For those of you who read Dutch, you can read a report about Wacken on metalkrant.nl but for the rest I'll just say, enjoy the pictures!
