Last year Lyo Leons and Joe Gooch, both from Ten Years After started writing songs and formed the trio Hundred Seventy Split. This Blues/Rock trio have since then released their first album, 'The World Won't Stop'. This year they are touring Europe and I was present at their first gig.
The show took place in the Hamtorkrug, a small club in Neuss Germany. The band played their full album and several new, unreleased songs. They opened with the song 'No Deal', and the party began. Before you knew it they had reached the rocking 'Wish You Were At Woodstock?' and the show was over... That is, until the encore.
As an encore they played "La Grange" by ZZ Top, and now the show was really over.
Special thanks go to Kultopolis for allowing me to shoot this gig.
